The RYAs’ Level 2 Powerboat Certificate is our minimum requirement for those wishing to crew the rescue boat. The level 2 course covers a wide range of topics related to boat driving including Launch and recovery, High speed maneuvers, close quarters handling and man overboard recovery to list but a few. For the MIRO crew, this is treated as the basis of our training but we aim for our abilities to exceed those taught in this course. |
